Kinder provides shoppers a unique virtual experience with their ‘Jump Into Africa’ WebAR Retail Experience
FPP, the award-winning Shopper Marketing Agency, engaged the leading WebAR development team at Aircards to deliver a unique immersive experience for the Kinder brand.
The ‘Jump Into Africa’ Safari experience features a 3D Augmented Reality Portal, inviting shoppers to walk inside and explore the African Savanna. Once inside the portal, animated 3D safari animals can be discovered alongside fun infographics to learn more about the animals in their own natural habitat.
The Safari experience can be found in a variety of supermarket locations around the UK, with Kinder and FPP working in collaboration with a high profile FMCG retailer. Shoppers can find the experience through in-store signage and ‘peel away’ print flyers located next to Kinder products in the supermarket.
As this experience was created using WebAR, it allows shoppers to enjoy the immersive content without the need for downloading an app. It also features the option to save the experience to the mobile device home screen, so that it can be simply accessed once back at home.
