Overview

To celebrate Universal’s Wicked movie and Robinsons’ glittery squash launch, we brought a little magic into Tesco stores with Savvy. Shoppers could step up to our “Witch Flavour Are You?” AR Magic Mirror and be transformed in real time into either Elphaba or Glinda, a playful blend of theatre, tech and taste.

Our intervention

We built the Magic Mirror hardware and crafted the AR content, powered by Snap Inc.’s CameraKit. Partnering with Savvy on shopper marketing and in-store rollout, and Verizon Business on infrastructure, we made sure the experience felt seamless and spectacular. Themed straws and a prize trip rounded out the in-store enchantment.

Conclusion

The mirror turned everyday shopping into a moment of pure fun. Families loved stepping into the world of Wicked, and the campaign drove buzz for both Robinsons’ new product and the movie launch. It also picked up Best Shopper Campaign at the Independent Agency Awards 2025, proof that when creative shopper strategy meets immersive tech, magic really happens.
