To support the launch of Venom: The Last Dance, we worked with Sony Pictures on an interactive Instagram filter that let fans step straight into Eddie Brock’s world. With one tap, Venom’s iconic tendrils emerged from behind, wrapping around users and transforming their space into something darker, stranger and very Marvel.
We designed and developed the Instagram AR filter, building a seamless face and environment effect that could scale across social. Our team handled the creative look and feel, animation and technical delivery, making sure fans could unleash Venom instantly and share the experience with their friends.
The filter gave fans a social-first way to join the Venom universe and amplified hype for the film’s release. For us, it was about giving audiences a taste of Venom’s power in a way that felt cinematic, personal and made to be shared.
