AR Business Cards

Augmented Reality (AR) is evolving and developing in the digital technology revolution, by enabling the superimposition of computer generated graphics into reality through a smartphone or tablet. Businesses are beginning to implement AR business cards into online retail due to its potential to accelerate business and create an immersive experience for its users.

Another benefit of AR is that it provides the user to retrieve additional information in real time, that you would not be able to get with a traditional business card. This allows for more well informed purchasing anytime and anywhere. Using innovative technologies always peaks interest with users and potential customers, increasing interaction and gaining visibility to your business to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Who Is Gary Vaynerchuk?

Gary Vaynerchuk has called himself a “Purebred Entrepreneur” since starting a lemonade franchise at the age of 7 and going on to make thousands of dollars a month selling baseball cards and toys throughout his high school career. Gary now is the Chairman of a media and communications holding company and CEO of an advertising agency serving Fortune 100 clients.

Gary is also a highly respected public speaker and a 5 time New York Times bestselling author as well as hosting a podcast “The GaryVee Audio Experience and the host of #AskGaryVee, a Q&A of all things business found on YouTube and Facebook.

What Does Gary Vaynerchuk Think Of Business Cards?

Back in 2015 Gary Vee was asked if he had a business card, he answered the question on his Youtube channel:

“I do not have a business card. I will never have a business card. A business card in 2015 makes absolutely zero sense. Let’s get back to the original reason people even have business cards: to deliver information. Well, you might have noticed, smart phones are a thing now. And freaking everyone has one.
So, here’s what you do: 1.Take out your f*cking phone. 2. Email the person on the spot.
It’s better. It’s cleaner. You won’t lose the card. It’s efficient. It’s right. You can even turn the phone and show the person what you wrote down if you’re really that nervous about it. Can’t believe this is even a discussion. Retire your business card. Your life will be easier. Really.”

Blunt and honest, just what you’d expect from Gary Vee, however, it is now 2019 and we think we have created something that might change his mind...

Look at what we created...

Aircards have created a business card that implements the power of Augmented Reality (AR) as a dynamic, innovative and contemporary way of viewing business information on your smartphone or tablet with no app to download. With Aircards technology, you can transform your business card into an Augmented Reality experience, rich with digital content, such as product catalogues and video demonstrations. This can be combined with the traditional business card details which can link you straight to an introductory video, social media platforms, website and more, the possibilities are endless!
