Newcastle United has launched a new AI-powered fan engagement platform at St. James' Park through a collaboration between Lenovo, Intel and Invisionary Media, the AI-powered interactive display division of Aircards Studio.
The deployment brings together immersive fan experiences, interactive retail engagement and audience insight, helping Newcastle United create more engaging and measurable match day experiences.
Located within St. James' Park, the deployment is powered by the Invisionary Media platform and built around the company's flagship LUX-75 interactive display. The technology enables supporters to take part in interactive experiences, discover club merchandise in new ways and engage more deeply with the matchday environment, while helping Newcastle United better understand visitor behaviour through integrated spatial analytics.
The launch reflects a broader shift in how sports venues, retail environments and public spaces are approaching audience engagement. Increasingly, organisations are looking beyond passive digital signage towards intelligent platforms capable of creating meaningful interaction while generating actionable insight.
"Fans increasingly expect the same level of interactivity and personalisation in physical spaces as they do online. By combining AI, immersive technology and interactive experiences, we're helping create match day moments that are engaging, memorable and genuinely enjoyable for supporters."
said Matt Watson, Chief Marketing Officer at Aircards Studio.

The project combines Lenovo infrastructure, Intel technologies and Invisionary Media's interactive engagement platform to deliver a seamless experience within one of the UK's most iconic sporting venues.
For Newcastle United supporters, the result is a more interactive and engaging matchday experience. For the club, it provides new ways to understand how fans engage with content, experiences and merchandise throughout their visit to St. James' Park.
The deployment also marks an important milestone for Invisionary Media and Aircards Studio as demand continues to grow for immersive technologies that bridge the gap between physical spaces and digital engagement.
As organisations seek new ways to understand and engage audiences in the real world, projects such as the Newcastle United deployment demonstrate how AI, interactive experiences and spatial analytics are beginning to reshape the future of engagement.
