Aircards worked closely with chartered insurance broker, Partners&, to develop and launch the innovative CyberSpace AR portal experience. Utilising cutting-edge Web-based Augmented Reality technology (WebAR), the CyberSpace portal enabled visitors to access an immersive brand experience which delivered a range of interactive media content on cyber security.
The portal featured a highly innovative ‘virtual concierge’, using a 3D Hologram created in the likeness of Partners& Cyber Director, Matthew Clark. Visitors were able to select from a range of responses, prompting ‘virtual Matt’ to deliver targeted insights on various cyber security topics, along with providing navigation guidance for the portal itself.
This use of a ‘virtual concierge’ by Partners& is a unique first deployment in the Insurance sector, demonstrating the tech-forward, innovation credentials of their organisation.
With physical events still facing challenges, digital experiences that leverage immersive technology are increasingly demonstrating significant value as a tool to engage audiences at home and in the office. Utilising WebAR means that no app download is required - the content is accessible simply from the mobile web browser of any smartphone or tablet device.
Millie Smith, Marketing Manager at Partners&, said “I knew if we were talking about cutting edge issues like cyber risk and security, we needed to be presenting it in a way that showed we understand and were comfortable in a high-tech environment,”. “We’re dealing with fast-moving, ever-changing issues here and AR felt like the right medium to deliver that message to our clients.”
